Acceptable Donations Guidelines
From JR
- What is the item *specifically* useful for?
- Will more than 3 members have use for it over the course of a month?
- Will it fill an existing need, or replace something we have with something better?
- Do we have room for it? If not, is it worth making room for?
If the answer is "yes" to all of the above questions, then we will take accept the donation.
Before an item is added to Jigsaw, it must be valuated and its value must be recorded in a spreadsheet of in-kind donations, then it must be cataloged in our inventory of tools with information including its location in Jigsaw.
